Friends of Reservoir Hill to meet

By Christine Funk

Special to The SUN

The Friends of Reservoir Hill are preparing to hold their first public meeting to further the campaign for a more community-minded plan for our town park, Reservoir Hill.

We suspect that many folks in the community are not interested in having our town park become overrun by too much, all at once.

The Friends of Reservoir Hill is a newly-founded group that is interested in obtaining public input in order to come up with a People’s Plan geared to smaller improvements in stages, thus allowing for the financial burden to be less, but still increasing activity on the hill by both locals and tourists.

We need to provide our town government with a better, more doable plan, so please come to the Friends meeting on Monday, Nov 12, at 5:30 p.m. at the Ross Aragon Community Center. Learn about membership, the People’s Plan and other pertinent information.
