This month, Cruikshank Realty is highlighting associate brokers John Stroh II and Joe Bush, whose deep agricultural roots and commitment to the land empower and guide their clients.
With nearly 50 years in Colorado’s agricultural real estate market, John C. Stroh II, an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), is a trusted authority on land, water rights and livestock stewardship.
A Fort Morgan native, his expertise grew from working on his family’s ranch before becoming a licensed broker in 1976, giving him a hands-on understanding of rural properties.
Stroh has served as a broker, appraiser and consultant. In 1986, he and his wife opened a Peterson Agri-Management Company branch, managing more than 40 Colorado ranches. Licensed as a Certified General Appraiser in 1991, he conducted more than 1,000 appraisals across 16 years while operating Southern Colorado Land & Livestock Company, Inc.
Stroh brought his wealth of knowledge to Cruikshank Realty in 2016 alongside Gene Cruikshank, and continues to carry forward his legacy with his daughter, Andrea “Andi” Baros.
With deep agricultural roots and nearly 20 years as a licensed broker, Joe Bush specializes in land brokerage across southeastern Colorado and Western Kansas.
Raised on a southern Texas family farm, he graduated from Texas A&M University in 1977 with a B.S. in Agronomy and a minor in Animal Science, building the foundation for his work in farm and ranch real estate.
Before entering real estate in 2008, Bush spent 30 years in the retail fertilizer and ag chemical industry as a sales manager, product development manager and agronomist for the Southwestern U.S. and Mexico.
As an Associate Broker at Cruikshank Realty, he combines this agronomic expertise and land management knowledge with bilingual skills and advanced marketing and AI tools to assist buyers and sellers.
