From collaborating with organizations in an effort to identify a new funding source for highway maintenance to helping Western Slope businesses gain information regarding Colorado’s aerospace industry, CLUB 20 represents its western Colorado members on many issues of common concern.
CLUB 20’s 10 policy committees have been tackling big issues in 2014, while advocating for policies to help communities, businesses and individuals continue to live and work on the Western Slope.
CLUB 20 is a nonpartisan advocacy group with business, individual and local government members from 22 counties in western Colorado. Members come together in an effort to help shape policies that impact Western Slope residents.
CLUB 20 works to encourage positions that positively promote western Colorado and has been known as “The Voice of the West Slope” since 1953. Ten policy committees work to develop positions on issues of common concern including agriculture, business affairs, energy, education and workforce development, telecommunications, transportation, public lands and natural resources, water and health care. Members advocate for solutions that support jobs, families, businesses and communities in the region.
This fall, CLUB 20 will conduct caucus meetings in 11 of the 22 member counties west of the Continental Divide and will take the opportunity to host a one-hour informational meeting for businesses, residents and municipalities to discuss current CLUB 20 efforts.
