Wings Early Childhood Center is having a party, and you are invited.
Please join us on Wednesday, June 24, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. for an elegant summer evening at the Keyah Grande Guest House.
The evening promises a night of elegance and memories with great food, drinks and music.
Max Miller will provide the entertainment. Miller specializes in classic jazz and the music of the “Rat Pack”: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Bobby Darin, and other entertainers from the 1950s and 1960s. He includes in his sets Broadway show tunes and Michael Bublé, a bridge between the classic crooner era and modern pop.
You will enjoy locally curated hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and the opportunity to take part in a silent auction of stellar experiences.
“Who needs more stuff to dust?” declared Wings Grand Gala chair Kim Moore when she announced the amazing travel opportunities businesses far and near have contributed.
How about a beach vacation in Costa Rica or a romantic wine country retreat in Oregon’s Willamette Valley? If you want to stay close to home, you can enjoy lovely experiences in Abiquiu, Ouray, Creede and at Keyah Grande. Choose golf in South Fork. Or enjoy a special private tour of the ski area. The online auction is now live at WingsEarlyChildhood.org.
Wings delivers high-quality, inclusive, nature-based care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Last year, Wings doubled our space to include infants and children aged 1 to 2 years (whom we call “wobblers”). We are the only center-based school in Archuleta County to offer care to these youngest children.
Some 75 percent of our families receive much-needed tuition assistance, based on family income and size. We serve our children nutritious breakfasts, lunches and afternoon snacks, prepared on site in our new commercial kitchen by our full-time food program manager.
Quality childhood education is critical to children’s lifelong success. Your support of the Wings Early Childhood Center Grand Gala helps to deliver outstanding care and education to children and families of Archuleta County. We rely on grants and your private donations to subsidize the cost of care.
This is our first grand gala fundraiser, and your support will make a difference in the lives of our kids — now and throughout their lives. Tickets are $100 each and are available at Tangled, 189 Talisman Drive, and online at WingsEarlyChildhood.org.
We hope to see you there.
