The Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado is excited to announce the return of the beloved 19th Hole Concerts series, kicking off Thursday, June 4, at the Pagosa Springs Golf Club.
Now in its 11th year, this four-week June tradition brings together live music, local nonprofits and community spirit in a relaxed outdoor setting.
Held every Thursday evening in June from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., the concerts serve as community fundraisers featuring local musicians and spotlighting one nonprofit organization each week.
A $10 suggested donation at the door supports all four participating nonprofits, with proceeds pooled and distributed equally at the end of the series. Thanks to generous corporate sponsors, 100 percent of donations go directly to these organizations. Last year, each nonprofit received $2,500 through the series.
This year’s featured nonprofits include Aspire Medical Services and Education, the Pagosa Community Initiative, Upper San Juan Watershed Enhancement Partnership and Wings Early Childhood Center — each addressing a unique and important need in the Pagosa Springs community.
Opening night to feature Wings Early Childhood Center, Bob Hemenger
The first concert on June 4 will feature local favorite Bob Hemenger, a longtime Pagosa Springs musician known for his engaging performances on saxophone and vocals. Audiences can expect a lively mix of Dixieland, jazz, soul, pop and blues to kick off the summer series in style.
The evening will highlight Wings Early Childhood Center, the featured nonprofit for opening night.
Wings Early Childhood Center provides high-quality, inclusive and nature-based care and education for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. Wings is the only licensed center for infants and toddlers in Pagosa Springs and serves up to 75 children daily across five beautiful and bright classrooms.
Wings is excited to announce ots first ever Wings Grand Gala, a night of jazz, hors d’oeuvres and fun at Keyah Grande on June 24. For tickets to the event or to ask about enrolling your child in the school, visit wingsearlychildhood.org.
A month of music and impact
The 19th Hole Concerts series is more than just great music; it’s a celebration of community collaboration and local impact. Each week offers a chance to connect with neighbors, learn about organizations making a difference and support causes that strengthen the Pagosa Springs area.
Bring a lawn chair, grab some friends and enjoy an evening of live music under the summer sky all while giving back.
