The unofficial results of the Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District's (PAWSD's) May 6 election have been released, with Eugene L. Tautges, Bruce Jones Jr. and Alex Boehmer being elected to the board.
According to PAWSD and Public Alliance, the Canvass Board will convene on May 15 to review and certify the official election results in accordance with applicable election laws. The Canvass Board will be composed of one current director, one eligible elector who is not a member of the board, and AJ Beckman, the designated election official.
The preliminary vote totals are as follows, according to PAWSD:
• Boehmer: 604.
• Tautges: 513.
• Jones: 494.
• Carl Lee Young: 467.
• Christa Chagra: 422.
