The unofficial election results for Archuleta County have been released, with the following decisions on local races.
Archuleta County commissioner
For District 1, incumbent Steve Wadley defeated his competitors. The vote totals for each candidate are as follows.
Rodney B. Proffitt, Democrat: 1,551
Steve Wadley, Republican: 3,442
Morgan Murri, unaffiliated: 2,107
For District 2, Ronnie Maez defeated the competition and will replace Clifford Lucero at the end of his term. The vote totals for each candidate are as follows.
Raymond P. Finney, Democrat: 1,492
Ronnie Maez, Republican: 4,046
Natalie Carpenter, unaffiliated: 1,646
Ballot Issue 4A
Voters approved Ballot Issue 4A, concerning exempting the Upper San Juan Health Service District from TABOR restrictions for 10 years. A total of 3,314 voters voted in favor of the exemption, while 3,231 voted against the idea.
