Save the date: On June 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Wings Early Childhood Center invites the Pagosa Springs community to our first Grand Gala and elegant summer evening at the Keyah Grande Guest House.
The evening promises to be one of elegance and memories with great food, drinks and music.
The gala will feature live music by local “jazz crooner” Max Miller, who is beloved for his traditional jazz and musical theater songs. Miller delights audiences with the classic tunes of Frank Sinatra and other crooners of “the good old days.”
You will enjoy locally curated hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and the opportunity to take part in an auction of delightful experiences at one of our area’s most spectacular venues. Keyah Grande is a 6,000-acre estate just west of Pagosa Springs, boasting breathtaking views of our San Juan mountain charm.
Tickets are $100 each and are available at Tangled, 189 Talisman Drive, and online at WingsEarlyChildhood.org.
Quality childhood education is critical to children’s lifelong success. Your support of the Wings Grand Gala helps to provide the outstanding care and education that the center offers to children and families of Archuleta County.
Success by 6
Wings delivers high-quality, inclusive, nature-based care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
Last year, Wings doubled our space to include infants and children aged 1 to 2 years (whom we call “wobblers”). We are the only center-based school in Archuleta County to offer care to these youngest children.
Some 75 percent of our families receive much-needed tuition assistance, based on family income and size. We serve our children nutritious breakfasts, lunches and afternoon snacks, prepared on-site in our new commercial kitchen by our full-time food program manager.
Excellent early childhood education delivers an exceptional return on investment for kids. It’s not just babysitting. Research shows that children thrive when they experience positive social and emotional development and age-appropriate learning from trained teachers. These children step out onto a positive developmental trajectory, readying them to enter kindergarten and experience lifetime success.
Please join your many generous neighbors in Pagosa Springs who contribute to Wings Early Childhood Center. We rely on grants and your private donations to support our families who otherwise could not afford quality early childhood education. Every dollar donated contributes to a brighter future for the working families of Archuleta County.
