The flamboyance of the Flamboyance of Punk Flamingos team is spilling over as tickets for the Runway for Rise Fashion Gala on Sept. 30 go on sale.

Just visit riseaboveviolence.org and select the Runway for Rise tab. General Admission tickets are $50. Even better, grab your girlfriends and book reserved seats for $75. Then you’ll be guaranteed to sit together while you sip “Diva Delight” cocktails and enjoy the show. There will be limited seating on the runway, so book those tickets today.

While you enjoy delicious catered appetizers and desserts you can participate in our Runway Wine Pull. Tickets will be $50 per bottle. Pick a numbered wine cork from the basket that corresponds to a disguised bottle of wine. With each bottle purchased, you will receive a complimentary ticket that will be entered in the drawing for the “Wowza” bottle of 2019 Kathryn Hall Cabernet Sauvignon valued at $225.

At the end of the evening, we will pull the winning ticket and one lucky guest will go home with the mystery bottles they purchased and the “Wowza“ wine. That guest could be you.

If you can’t attend the event, we will miss you, but you can still join in the fun. Go to riseaboveviolence.org. There you can purchase wine in our Online Wine Pull, where several of the 40 mystery bottles available are valued above $50. You can also vote for teams that are giving this event their all. Show them some love for their efforts with your dollars.

Those dollars will support Rise programs like the Youth Violence Prevention Education Program. Serving elementary-aged students through young adulthood, it provides them the tools to be safe while being an effective bystander when they see a peer in trouble. Rise believes this is the way domestic violence and sexual assault truly can be stopped. Event questions? Contact Dee McPeek at (970) 317-3224.
