Thingamajig Theatre Company’s summer season entering final weeks

Posted

After a summer of standing ovations, great houses and unforgettable performances, Thingamajig Theatre Company is heading into the final weeks of its 2025 Summer Repertory Season at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts.

This season’s trio of rotating productions has brought bold comedy, emotional storytelling and dazzling theatricality to Pagosa Springs. Audiences have enjoyed the outrageous musical romp “Something Rotten!,” the jazz-age decadence of Andrew Lippa’s “The Wild Party” and the clever wit of “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder,” where one actor takes on eight wildly different roles all destined for delightfully comic misfortune.

With professional actors, designers and musicians from across the country calling Pagosa home each summer, Thingamajig’s productions continue to rival those in much larger markets while offering the intimacy and personal touch that only a hometown theater can provide.

As Artistic Director Tim Moore notes, “In the digital age, it’s easy to assume you can always hit ‘rewind.’ But live theater doesn’t work that way. These actors, this chemistry, these sets they only exist right now. Once the season ends, it’s gone forever.”

The 2025 season will close on Aug. 30, and performances are selling quickly. If you’ve been meaning to catch a show or want to come back for another, you still have time, but not much. Don’t miss your chance to be part of a truly special summer experience.
