In its 11th year, the 19th Hole Concerts, put on by the Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado, has once again raised $10,000 to support Pagosa Springs nonprofits.

This year’s recipients will each receive a $2,500 grant to support their vital work in the community.

Aspire Medical Services and Education, Pagosa Community Initiative, Upper San Juan Watershed Enhancement Partnership, and Wings Early Childhood Center were selected by the Archuleta Committee to be highlighted at one of the concerts held every Thursday in June. A $10 donation at the gate goes to the nonprofits selected each year.

The success of these concerts is made possible by the support of concertgoers and generous sponsors who cover concert expenses so 100 percent of ticket sales go to the nonprofits.

This season also brought the largest crowd ever, with 331 attendees at the June 18 concert.

“It’s great to see returning faces every summer, but this year’s turnout really stood out,” said Susan Buchner, a long-time member of the Archuleta Committee. “Great music for a cause that puts real dollars into Pagosa Springs nonprofits.”
