The world’s shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade will return to Pagosa Springs on Saturday, March, 15 at 11:15 a.m., at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church.
Featuring the emerald decorated float with green-clad Pagosa children, majorettes, bagpipers, Tin Lizzie mini-cars and first responder vehicles, this annual march signals spring is on its way. Even leashed dogs and their owners are encouraged to participate in the parade.
Eighteen local vendors will be on-site in the St. Patrick’s parking lot, along with free hot dogs, plus Irish coffee and beer for sale.
Plenty of parking will be available at the adjacent hospital and Pope John Paul II Church lots. Attendees are welcome to contribute to the St. Patrick’s Food Bank with donations of canned fruit and vegetables.
With activities for kids and adults alike, this festival promises to be a “shamrocking” good time.
