On Tuesday, Jan. 20, the Archuleta County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) reported that it responded to a medical call involving an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent.
According to a press release, the ACSO responded to the call at approximately. 7:50 a.m.
"While conducting operations in the County, an ICE Agent slipped and fell on the ice, sustaining injuries which required medical treatment," it states.
It adds an ACSO deputy responded to the scene "to ensure that all Archuleta County citizens, medical personnel, and law enforcement officers were safe, and that medical personnel could provide the necessary medical response."
It notes the case was closed with no further action from the ACSO.
