The Sunday service on Sept. 17 at 10:30 a.m. will be “What makes it possible for us to live joyfully?” with Shayla White Eagle McClure.

Upcoming events

SpiritHeart Band practice is Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. We welcome musicians and singers to join the SpiritHeart band. Please text Bruce at (970) 507-0739 for band information.

Thursday, Sept. 14, 6 p.m.: Sacred Medicine Ways class with White Eagle. The class will be on “The Fountain of Youth” — the five ancient rites to longevity, plus the importance of glutathione, the master antioxidant.

Sept. 15, 7 p.m.: New moon drumming at Xanadu.

Sept. 23, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: “Building the Sacred Medicine Wheel and Ceremony” with White Eagle at Xanadu. Contact (970) 309-6067 for more information. 

Sept. 24: Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. with Dr. Elaine Harding.

Sept. 26: Women Helping in Pagosa Springs, or WHIPS, fundraiser chocolate pairing with wine with Jenelle Syverson. Located at the Elk Trace Bed and Breakfast.

Oct. 8 and 15: Sunday service at 11 a.m. with Drs. Larry and Evelyn Malone, who will be hosting the services at their home. They will present a two-part series on compassion.

Oct. 21: Vets4Vets Beerfest fundraiser at Yamaguchi Park. The time has not yet been announced. Tickets will go on sale soon.

November: Quintangled Masquerade Ball Fundraiser with Julie Loar. Tickets will be on sale soon.
