As we continue introducing the remarkable Nashville talent coming to Hometown Voices and Nashville Stories, we’re excited to spotlight the final two singer-songwriters and judges who will help make this fundraiser an unforgettable experience.

Their careers span chart-topping country hits, award-winning songwriting, television and film placements, and decades of performing before audiences across the country.

Together with Jeffrey Steele and Wendell Mobley, Danny Myrick and Megan Linville complete an extraordinary lineup of Nashville talent.

From the stories behind the songs to unforgettable live performances, these accomplished artists will inspire audiences while offering invaluable encouragement and feedback to our hometown contestants.

Let’s meet the final two Nashville stars and judges who will be joining us at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts on Aug. 24.

Myrick is an American country music songwriter, producer and musician. He is widely recognized for writing massive hits for prominent country music artists, generating millions of record sales over his decades-long career.

Raised in Pascagoula, Miss., as a preacher’s kid, he began playing and singing in his family’s gospel band at a young age. He achieved his first No. 1 gospel song as a writer when he was only 17 years old. During the 1990s, Myrick moved to Nashville and was the lead vocalist, bassist and primary songwriter for the ‘90s country-rock vocal band Western Flyer, achieving multiple Top 40 country hits.

When Myrick transitioned to mainstream country, he wrote/co-wrote several massive radio hits.

Some of his most recognizable country chart-toppers include Jason Aldean’s “She’s Country,” which became the most-played country song of 2009, Tim McGraw’s “Truck Yeah,” Craig Morgan’s “International Harvester,” and LoCash’s “I Love This Life.”

Due to his significant contributions, he was selected for induction into the Mississippi Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Linville is an American country music singer and songwriter born and raised in Nashville, Tenn. She comes from a strong musical lineage as the granddaughter of Jerry McBee, a prominent songwriter who wrote hits for legends like Roy Orbison, Charley Pride and Jerry Lee Lewis.

She recorded her very first album at the age of 19 with producer John Carter Cash, the Grammy-winning son of Johnny Cash. Linville was also recognized as a CMT Artist Discovery, with her single “This Old Town” reaching No. 3 on the CMT 12 Pack Countdown. She has built a diverse collection of contemporary country and southern soul music, consisting of tracks she has recorded as a solo artist, songs written for holiday films and tracks she has written for other rising country musicians.

Linville is now the new voice of Blue Bell Ice Cream, alongside Nashville Hall of Fame songwriter Aaron Barker. Her self-written recording of “Wrapped Up in Love” is the closing credits song for Hallmark Network’s holiday favorite “Snow Bride,” as well as “Hearts of Christmas.”

With Myrick and Linville completing this exceptional lineup, Hometown Voices and Nashville Stories promises to be much more than a concert; it’s an evening where world-class Nashville talent meets the heart and spirit of our local community.

Their performances, stories and role as judges will create an unforgettable experience while celebrating the incredible voices of Pagosa Springs.

Now it’s your turn to be part of the excitement.
