The Southwest Colorado Accelerator Program For Entrepreneurs (SCAPE) is accepting applications for its third program during the month of May 2014.
SCAPE’s objective is to support the creation and development of high-growth, job-creating companies in Southwest Colorado by offering an accelerator program that provides funding, education and intense mentoring. Successful completion of the SCAPE program should provide these ventures the ability to enter markets and raise capital.
The program is supported by local investors and mentors, as well as economic development organizations including the Region 9 Economic Development District, the La Plata Economic Development Alliance and Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
SCAPE runs two Accelerator Programs per year. Each company receives an equity investment to build the company, along with free office space. Most importantly, entrepreneurs receive valuable mentorship to help them address the specific challenges that they face in establishing and growing their company. At the end of the four-month program, the graduating finalists will present their investor presentations.
