Special to The PREVIEW

Welcome to PaGHOSTa Haunted Fields.

Nothing beats stargazing under a fall moonlit sky alongside a host of ghost and ghouls. Whether you’re a resident or passerby, it is the perfect time of year for a leisurely stroll among the dead and decomposed.

The Pagosa Springs Athletic Boosters Club invites you to a night of concessions, music and fun. Join us at the Pagosa Springs High School “Haunted” Baseball Field on Oct. 25, 26 or 27 for a scream of a time. Chill in the air? Never fear. There will be a glowing barrel to warm you and your little pumpkins.

Oct. 25 from 5 to 6 p.m. is reserved for younger kids and the faint of heart (no scare hour), but the chainsaws will buzz and eyeballs will bubble up from 7 to 10 p.m. On Oct. 26 and 27, be prepared to be terrorized from 7 to 11 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now at the middle school and high school offices. You can also pick them up night of at our creaking gate across from Yamaguchi Park.

Log on to our Facebook page at “Haunted Maze-Pagosa Springs” to receive event discounts. You are also welcome to like and share your photos.

This is a bone-chilling event you won’t want to miss. All proceeds benefit our local high school athletes.
