The San Juan Citizens Alliance (SJCA) invites community members to a public gathering on Thursday, Dec. 4, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Liberty Theatre.
With recent national efforts to weaken the National Environmental Policy Act, expand public land sales, and fast-track extraction, many residents are seeking clear information about how these changes could impact local landscapes and communities.
SJCA Public Lands Manager John Rader will provide an update and help attendees understand what these policy shifts may mean for the region.
The event is free and open to all. Participants are encouraged to bring questions, share concerns and connect with others who care about protecting public lands, water, wildlife and climate in the San Juan Basin.
