Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 9, the Colorado Department of Transportation will perform three-week-long survey work on U.S. 160 between Elmore's Corner (mile point 91.8) and Silver Hills Road (mile point 97), just west of County Road 223.

Motorists traveling between Durango and Bayfield should allow up to 30 minutes of additional travel time Sept. 9-26, Monday through Friday, between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.

Crews will attempt to keep traffic alternating through the work zone; however, full stops and lane closures will be necessary to safely preform the operations.
