The Pirates are bringing about 20 athletes to the Friday Night Lights meet in Pueblo on Friday, May 8, as O’Donnell and her assistants give some athletes one last chance to qualify for states.

“I would say that while we are hoping for a few more individual qualifiers, we are focused on relays,” wrote O’Donnell. “Our handoffs need to be seamless in order to get the times we need to qualify.”
