Special to The PREVIEW
The Pagosa Springs Photography Club will hold its regular monthly meeting Wednesday evening, July 9, in the Pinon Room of The Quality Resort. Join us for socializing at 6 p.m. (drinks and appetizers are available for purchase), followed by the program and short business meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The July photo club meeting program will be presented by club member Michael Rudd. He has been a professional photojournalist for over 20 years. As the former features editor for Four-Wheeler Magazine, Rudd has covered off-road adventures on every continent except Antarctica. His work includes not only off-roading, but underwater photography, surfing, exotic cultures and landscapes, as well as wildlife throughout the world. Rudd will present a slideshow about the “Isuzu Challenge” in the Indian Himalayas, where he was on assignment for Four-Wheeler Magazine. Check out his portfolio at www.ruddfotos.com.
Members are also encouraged to bring 10-15 photographs of personal preference on a flash drive or CD for review and discussion following the program, as time permits.
Photography enthusiasts of all levels of ability are invited to attend club meetings at no charge for the first meeting. If interested, you are invited to join for annual dues of $25 for individuals, $35 for a family membership and $10 for a student membership.
The photography club will continue to meet the second Wednesday of each month at around 6 p.m. in the Pinon Room of The Quality Resort.
