There were smiles in every classroom recently when all 557 Pagosa Springs Elementary School (PSES) children were presented with a “Mini Magic” toy from local business Parelli Natural Horsemanship for their participation and effort in the Pennies for Patients Program.

P.I.E. (Partners in Education), the parent-teacher group for PSES, strives to bring families, schools and communities together to help children be successful. Its motto is, “We can achieve our goals with all the pieces of the pie.”
