Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship to hold Story Sunday

Posted

The Pagosa Unitarian Universalist (UU) Fellowship is excited to offer Story Sunday, this week, July 19, at 10:30 a.m., our regular Sunday morning gathering.

As a UU Fellowship we offer programing that is life-affirming and, some have said, lifesaving. In a world that seems to counter that message, we choose to engage in themes that uplift our emotions while also acknowledging the realities of life.

Join us this Sunday for a wisdom story, expressing the theme of acceptance, and offered by storyteller and artist Libby Krause.

The Fellowship is lucky to have her gifts as part of our inspiration. We are also keeping with the framework provided by the UU Association asking each of us to “Meet the Moment” and engage with our shared values in real-world ways.

For more information about other offerings, we encourage a look at our website, PagosaUU.org.

The UU space is used as a Community Hub for the Pagosa community, and offers space for a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth and connection.

The Tara Meditation Group is held most Sundays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Email the Fellowship to be added to the list and receive information and notices about this meditation practice.

Qigong practice is held at 1 p.m. on Monday afternoons and all are welcome.

The Wise and Wakeful Circle, continues to meet the second and fourth Saturdays at 10 a.m. The next gathering will be July 25.

The Pagosa UU Fellowship is located in the Greenbriar Plaza, Unit B-15, 301 N. Pagosa Blvd., on the north side facing Pagosa Peak.

We celebrate diversity and foster a spiritual home of acceptance, with love at the center.
