Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship to hold solstice picnic

Posted

As one of the faith community sponsors of Pagosa Pride, the Pagosa Unitarian Universalist (UU) Fellowship is elated for the beautiful day we all experienced.

Town Park was filled with colorful costumes and joyful sounds of participants as the youth were an integral part of the day’s programming. A hearty thank you to all who participated either as a community group, sponsor, or by simply coming and joining the festivities.

As we turn toward the rest of the summer, this coming Sunday, June 21, the fellowship will host a solstice picnic and annual meeting at the home of one of our members. This is a highlight each year for fellowship members and friends, and if you are interested in learning more, visit the website for our current newsletter.

The following Sunday, June 28, we are engaging in a day-long retreat to help us plan for the future. Both of these services will take place off-site, so there will be no programs in the fellowship space.

Check out our website, PagosaUU.org, for additional information about the Pagosa UUs and about Unitarian Universalism.

The UU Community Hub offers space for a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth and connection.

The Tara Meditation Group is held most Sundays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. If interested, email the fellowship to be added to the list to receive information and notices about this weekly meditation practice. A Zoom option is available.

Qigong practice is held at 1 p.m. most Monday afternoons, and all are welcome.

The Wise and Wakeful Circle meets the second and fourth Saturdays at 10 a.m. — this month on June 27.

The Pagosa UU Fellowship is located in the Greenbriar Plaza, Unit B-15, 301 N. Pagosa Blvd., on the north side facing Pagosa Peak. We celebrate diversity and foster a spiritual home for those wishing to “Make Friends, Grow in Spirit and Do Good.”
