Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

The Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (PUUF) meets monthly for the Going Deeper Sharing Circle on the second Sunday of each month at 10:30 a.m.

We gather to reflect and share as we practice deep listening. All are invited to join in, as this is an open, safe circle of deepening your own life’s journey and spiritual growth.

This week we will have a shortened gathering and invite you to come for a brief connection and meditation continuing our lament for the earth.

De Anna Hoyle, community engagement coordinator, will be present for anyone wishing to start the day in quiet contemplation.

As a sponsor of Pagosa Pride, we partner with groups beyond Pagosa Springs. Some of the PUUF folks will join the Four Corner Alliance for Diversity’s Big Queer BBQ on Sunday, May 10, from 1 to 3 p.m. held at Rotary Park in Durango. Perhaps we’ll see you there.

We are a welcoming congregation, meaning we actively practice intentional LGBTQ+ welcoming ministry. Check out more at uua.org/lgbtq.

And if you like to plan ahead, next Sunday, on May 17, we will hear “A Unitarian Universalist Odyssey Through Hell,” which will be offered by guest minister the Rev. Michael Brown from Santa Fe, N.M.

Visit our website, PagosaUU.org, where you will find information about upcoming services and programs.

We offer space for ongoing programs and events at the UU Community Hub, such as the Tara Meditation Group held Sundays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Qigong practice on Monday afternoons. The Wise and Wakeful Circle, hosted by Elaine Harding and Sam Johnson, meets the second Saturday, May 9 this month.

The Pagosa UU Fellowship is located in the Greenbriar Plaza, Unit B-15, 301 N. Pagosa Blvd., on the north side facing Pagosa Peak.

We celebrate diversity and foster a spiritual home for those wishing to “Make Friends, Grow in Spirit and Do Good.”
