As we celebrate our 48th year at Sonlight Christian Camp, we encourage you to come alone, or bring those special women in your life that would love to spend time with both you and God in a beautiful location. Many women come alone and make friendships that outlast this weekend experience.
This year’s theme is “A View From the Summit: Refreshing Your Life with a Heavenly Perspective” with Pagosa’s own Becky Johnson as the guest speaker.
Johnson is a mountain girl from Pagosa Springs who loves Jesus, adventure and being outside whenever possible. She has spent much of her life learning, exploring, and sometimes taking the scenic route — both literally and spiritually.
Johnson is not showing up as someone who has it all figured out, but as someone who has made plenty of mistakes and discovered that God is faithful through every bit of it. She loves honest conversations, the deeper things of God and a good laugh along the way.
One of Johnson’s favorite verses is “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
At the Pagosa Christian Women Retreat, you’ll experience powerful worship, uplifting teachings, soul-refreshing activities and the deep fellowship of sisters in Christ. Whether you’re carrying burdens, seeking peace or simply longing for connection, this retreat offers a place to rest, be restored and rediscover the joy of God’s love.
This nondenominational retreat will run from Friday, Sept. 25, through lunchtime on Sunday, Sept. 27.
Whether you have been walking for the Lord for weeks or years, this is a special time to soak in His love for you as you join us for “Summer Camp.”
