The Pagosa Springs Rotary Club is proud to announce the students receiving the 2014 Rotary Scholarships totaling $20,000. They are as follows:
• Jacob Manzanares, $8,000 to be paid over four years. He is attending University of Colorado-Colorado Springs studying computer science.
• Devyn Doctor, $5,000 to be paid over four years. She is attending Western Washington University studying finance.
• Luke Hansen, $1,000. He is attending Colorado School of Mines studying chemical engineering.
• Mesa Lynch, $1,000. She is attending University of Colorado-Boulder studying integrative physiology.
• Tyler Greenly, $1,000. He is attending Colorado State University studying ecological biology.
• Amber Onello, $1,000. She is attending University of Colorado- Colorado Springs studying criminal justice.
• Jesse Richardson, $1,000. He will be attending University of Colorado-Colorado Springs studying computer technology.
• Austin Drake, $500. He will be attending San Juan College studying automotive technology.
• Anissa Lucero, $500. She will be attending Otero Junior College studying cosmetology.
• Dana Danielson, $500. She will be attending Red Rocks Community College studying culinary arts.
• Rogelio Padilla Jr., $500. He will be attending Front Range Community College studying computer information systems.
Since 1983, the Pagosa Springs Rotary Club has awarded a total of $343,500 in scholarships to 144 high school graduates. The Pagosa Springs Rotary Club congratulates all of the graduating seniors this year.
