Women affiliated with a collegiate sorority are invited to attend the annual gathering of sisters on Aug. 11 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Alley House Grille.
The event will feature hors d’eouvres and a cash bar. A $10 donation at the event is requested to assist in covering the cost of appetizers and beverage service.
The event was revived in 2023 and one to two events have been held every year, with 20-30 sorority women gathering at each event. The intent is to catch up with old friends while enjoying the new friends that you will meet and share the bond of sisterhood across badges.
Please help by mentioning this upcoming event to friends and acquaintances that you know to be Panhellenic members so that we can continue to grow participation. We look forward to welcoming the traditional attendees, as well as new faces, to this special event.
In 2006, an initial luncheon was held to celebrate and share in our collegiate sorority roots. The luncheon continued for 11 years and disbanded without volunteers to organize another event.
Sherry Spears, Delta Delta Delta, leads the reestablishment of these fun events. Her planning committee includes Joni Rose, Kelly Maestas and Lisa Scott, all Pi Beta Phis.
