Pagosa Community Initiative’s Mom’s Night builds connection and community

Posted

The Pagosa Community Initiative’s (PCI’s) monthly Mom’s Night continues to grow, bringing local caregivers together for an evening of connection, creativity and community.

PCI started Mom’s Night to help caregivers build supportive relationships with one another and feel more connected to the community around them. Each gathering offers participants a seat at the table to share a community meal, create a craft, and simply enjoy time together in a welcoming and relaxed environment.

Child care is provided, and the event is completely free, making it easier for caregivers to participate and take some well-deserved time for themselves.

The growing popularity of Mom’s Night shows how valuable opportunities for connection and support are within our community.

Registration opens at the beginning of each month, and spaces fill quickly. Caregivers interested in attending are encouraged to watch PCI’s monthly announcement and sign up early to save their seat at the table. You may also reach out to PCI at (970) 585-6461 or randye@pagosacommunityinitiative.org.

Mom’s Night is more than sharing a meal or completing a craft. It is about creating friendships, strengthening support systems and reminding caregivers that they are an important part of a caring community.
