A community-focused financial workshop is coming to the Pagosa Community Initiative (PCI) on Oct. 22 at 6 p.m., offering practical guidance on budgeting and the path to homeownership.
Organizers emphasize that seats are limited, and an RSVP is required by Oct. 17 to ensure adequate materials and dinner arrangements.
The event aims to provide attendees with relatable, step-by-step strategies for managing household budgets, saving for major milestones and understanding the basics of securing a home loan. Attendees will hear from a seasoned loan officer and receive resources designed to help families and individuals navigate financial planning in today’s housing market.
The workshop will be held at PCI, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd.
To RSVP, contact Carrie Blue-White at cblue@trustedrate.com or call/text (949) 683-4646.
Dinner will be provided.
What to expect:
• A practical look at budgeting fundamentals tailored to everyday decisions.
• An overview of the path to homeownership, including cost considerations, credit readiness and loan options.
• An opportunity to ask questions in a respectful, zero-pressure setting.
This workshop is designed for community members who want clearer, more reliable guidance on financial planning and homeownership, whether they’re just starting to budget or ready to take the next step toward purchasing a home.
Attendees are encouraged to RSVP soon to help organizers plan for seating, materials and the dinner service.
The RSVP information and the workshop content are provided for educational purposes to enhance financial literacy in our community. The event is one of several community PCI offerings and is aimed at empowering residents with practical tools for managing finances and planning for the future.
