For several years, several pilots from Pagosa Springs have participated in the Navajo Nation Christmas Airlift, which delivers donated household goods to the Navajo Nation for the needy in their community. The effort delivered approximately 18,000 pounds of donations over three days. The Navajo Nation Christmas Airlift is in its 41st year.
