From the May 4, 1989, Pagosa SUN — Bobby Risinger was happy to learn the fish in the San Juan River are starting to bite. Risinger caught this 19-inch rainbow with his spinning gear a few days ago. The fish went for a red salmon egg as Risinger was fishing below the Highway 160 bridge at 1st Street.
