Locals participate in Home Ignition Zone workshop

Five ambassadors from the Archuleta County chapter of Wildfire Adapted Partnership participated in a Home Ignition Zone workshop in Mancos, Colo., on April 20. Participants learned how to recognize the many vulnerabilities homes have to thermal radiation and ember showers from wildfires. Pagosa Springs participants in the workshop included Al and Jo Myatt, David and Beverly Cuyler and Karen Katsos.
