Five ambassadors from the Archuleta County chapter of Wildfire Adapted Partnership (WAP) participated in a Home Ignition Zone (HIZ) workshop in Mancos, Colo., on April 20. Participants learned how to recognize the many vulnerabilities homes have to thermal radiation and ember showers from wildfires.
