Hold onto your seashells: Pagosa Springs High School (PSHS) and San Juan Mountain School students are diving headfirst into “The Little Mermaid.”
Since January, 48 local students have been dancing, singing and acting their fins off to bring this underwater adventure to life.
But it’s not just the performers making waves — creativity is bubbling up from all corners of the schools. The Art Department whipped up colorful puppets crafted by PSHS students, while the wood shop built sets that would make King Triton proud. That’s right — this musical is a full-team effort, from stage to sea.
Audiences can catch all the fun April 8 through 11 at 7 p.m., with a special matinee on April 11 at 2 p.m. Whether you’re a fan of catchy songs, spectacular dance numbers or just want to see a giant crab on stage, this is one show you don’t want to miss.
Grab a seat, hold your nose and get ready for a tidal wave of talent and fun — singing, dancing and maybe a little splashing guaranteed (on stage only).
