A Pagosa Springs man was arrested last Friday for possession of meth and another controlled substance following a citizen tip.
Dale Trefethen, 56, of Pagosa Springs, was booked into the Archuleta County Detention Center on March 21 after he was found in possession of one-half gram of methamphetamine and schedule 3 prescription drugs, said Cpl. Brandon Bishop of the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office.
Bishop said the office received a tip from a homeowner who stated Trefethen was house-sitting for her and she had received information that led her to believe meth was possibly being used at the house in Lake Forest Estates.
Trefethen was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamines-under 4 oz. and possession of a schedule 3 substance, Bishop reported.
Trefethen’s is the seventh meth-related arrest in the last two months.
