Special to The SUN
The word is out — tickets go on sale Monday, July 31, for A Little Black Dress Affair.
Phone calls are already coming in to reserve tables of eight for Oct. 14, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Ross Aragon Community Center. This year, all tickets are $55 and everyone will have a reserved seat — no more hunting to find a place to sit.
“Prom Night” promises to be full of fabulous, feminine fun all evening. Ladies dressed in their lovely “little prom somethings” will enter and be reminded, just as in days past, how a simple room can be transformed into something beautiful.
Bob Hemenger will add his special touch of class to the evening, serenading you as you shop the silent auction. This year, we will feature amazing masterpieces by creative locals for your bidding pleasure. Shopping, while supporting at-risk children, has never been this much fun.
In between bidding, you’ll want to take a few moments out for that special prom photo with your dressy friends. After all, how often do you capture a memory with your favorite girlfriends all looking so beautiful?
After you have bid, vamped and sampled the delightful appetizers, our fantastic team of Seeds table captains will serve you a delectable dinner.
To round out the evening, The CannonDolls will take the stage to entertain with great music for dancing and working off that dinner.
Don’t miss this ninth annual fundraising event for Seeds of Learning. The evening is all about friends, fun and helping educate the low income/at risk preschoolers of Pagosa. Get your tickets at Seeds today, before we sell out. Don’t be that lady who says, “Oh, no, I missed it.”
