When you think of extraordinary women, who comes to mind? Your mother, grandmother, daughter, sister or granddaughter? Could it be a beloved teacher, mentor, leader or community member?
The Ruby M. Sisson Memorial Library Foundation and Friends wants to honor those women whom you feel are extraordinary, by memorializing their names on the wall of the library’s new community room.
A donation of $1,000 made by Nov. 1st and the name of the extraordinary woman you choose to recognize will help us reach the top of our goal to fund the library expansion and renovation, and memorialize the extraordinary women in our lives. A tax-deductible donation can be made directly through the 100 Extraordinary Women website at https://100extraordinarywomen.com/ruby-m-sisson-memorial-library/ or pay by check at the front desk of the library.
In addition to having your extraordinary woman’s name on the wall, with each donation of $1,000 you will receive a ticket for a woman of your choice to attend our celebration event on Nov. 1.
The library expansion and renovation is our goal, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop with only 100 extraordinary women. We have a memorial wall to fill and would love to see all the extraordinary women of Pagosa Springs be represented. There are so many extraordinary women in the world, the hardest part will be choosing who to nominate.
