With the election approaching on Nov. 3, the League of Women Voters of Archuleta County warmly invites you to learn more about the upcoming ballot issues at our next two monthly meetings.
Both meetings will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church, 434 Lewis St.
We would appreciate your consideration in joining us help educate our citizens and improve voter participation.
The schedule is as follows:
• Tuesday, Sept. 29: Discussion and updates on three local ballot initiatives (lodging tax, new schools and the medical center), followed by information on leadership opportunities within the League of Women Voters of Archuleta County.
• Monday, Oct. 26: An overview of the Election Blue Book, detailing the pros and cons of state ballot issues for Colorado voters.
The League of Women Voters of Archuleta County is a nonpartisan organization open to all community members.
