The Pagosa Springs Dance Academy (PSDA) is inviting families to join Kids Dance Party events this summer while helping support an important studio improvement project.
The first dance party event will be held on Friday, June 12, offering children ages 5 and up a fun evening of music, activities, dinner and social time. No dance experience is required. This event is all about having fun.
The event will be led by PSDA board members, all of whom have completed background checks, and assisted by studio dancers, providing a safe and supervised evening for participants.
Parents are invited to enjoy a date night or a few hours of free time while their children participate in a positive, active environment.
The cost is $25 for the first child and $15 for each additional sibling. Space is limited, and families are encouraged to reserve their spots in advance at www.pagosadanceacademy.com. Questions may be directed to board.psda@gmail.com.
Additional Kids Dance Party fundraisers will be held throughout the summer on July 9 and Aug. 22.
Proceeds will help fund a new sprung floor for the studio, considered the industry standard for dance training due to its impact absorption and injury-prevention benefits.
In addition to these fundraising events, the PSDA offers a variety of summer dance camps, workshops and classes for dancers of all ages and experience levels.
