Special to The PREVIEW

Once again, the Mountain View Homemakers’ organization is sponsoring the annual Holiday Bazaar, the ever-popular start to the holiday season in Pagosa.

The bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Ross Aragon Community Center. Included will be all of the fun, food, shopping and socializing that you remember from years past. Parking is at a premium, so we recommend carpooling.

There will be over 50 booths for you to enjoy while looking for the perfect gifts for those on your Christmas list, as well as unique items for yourself. Talented artists and craftsmen from Pagosa and throughout western Colorado and New Mexico are bringing unique handcrafted items for this special event.

All items at the bazaar are handcrafted and will include many types of Christmas décor, pottery, jewelry, fabric art, clothing, quilts, paintings, knitting and crocheted items, alpaca and llama products, jams and jellies, woodworking, home décor, bird houses, dolls, soaps and lotions, and even herbs and spices.

In addition to the booths, the silent auction features wonderful gift baskets created by homemakers’ club members, as well as some specialty items. Themed baskets will feature Christmas, dogs, wine, gardening, baby girl, teas, coffee, Choke Cherry Tree, kitchen, scarves, rainy day play, spa day and much more. The auction will also include both an antique and a modern quilt.
