Did you ever consider that your donation of blood during our local drives can be of great benefit to you, as well as to the recipient of your gift?
At each donation visit, the Vitalant staff checks the donor’s pulse, temperature, blood pressure and iron levels to ensure the potential donor is healthy enough to give blood.
After giving, donors may also learn their blood type and cholesterol levels, with those results available in their confidential donor account.
Our next drive will be on Tuesday, May 27, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at Centerpoint Church, 2750 Cornerstone Drive.
As of the submission of this article, there are 30 appointments made, with 33 time slots still open.
Surely in this giving community there are 33 more donors available, some perhaps for the first time, to fill our goal of 63 appointments.
For more information or to make an appointment, please contact local volunteer Sharee Grazda by text or call at (970) 946-2760.
You may also call Vitalant at 1-877-25-VITAL or go to Vitalant.org.
Many thanks, and best wishes for good health to all who read this.
