Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership to show ‘Common Ground’ for annual fundraiser

Posted

Please join the Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership (GGP) for our annual spring Environmental Film Fundraiser on Tuesday, April 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Liberty Theater.

We’ll be honoring this year’s Earth Day with a live screening of the film “Common Ground,” a sequel to “Kiss the Ground,” which grabbed audiences’ attention with regenerative agriculture solutions to combat the climate crisis.

As part of a “Global Watch Party,” we will be watching the initial streaming of the film along with millions of people worldwide.

Tickets are $25 (children under 13 go for free) and can be purchased either at the door on the day of or in advance at our website. With the purchase of a ticket, attendees will be eligible for door prizes from local businesses.

The event will kick off with a short piece by local filmmaker Darryl Saffer entitled “Pagosa is My Name.”

The GGP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate the community in sustainable agricultural practices by producing food year-round using local renewable energy.
