Fire department responds to multiple fires

Pagosa Fire Protection District responded to multiple fires on Monday, March 21, including this grass fire in the Aspen Springs area. The cause of the fire was a lit cigarette.

On Monday, March 21, members of the Pagosa Fire Protection District (PFPD) were dispatched to the Aspen Springs area to respond to a fire.

According to firefighter Kelly Robertson, who was the incident commander, PFPD units were dispatched at 3:23 p.m. for a grass fire in Aspen Springs off of Badger Place.
