Expert to speak on industrial genetically modified agriculture in Africa

From 4 to 5 p.m. on May 23, at the Ruby Sisson Library, there will be a special presentation by an American professor, Carol Thompson, Ph.D., who worked in Africa.

She is being sponsored by the Earth Community Pagosa and will be honored at a reception starting at 3:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to hear firsthand why millions of people around the world do a March Against Monsanto, the next one coming on May 21.
