Crash on U.S. 160 being investigated

Update, noon, Feb. 18: According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, the crash has been cleared.

According to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP), this morning, Feb. 18, at 9:34 a.m., the agency responded to a crash on eastbound U.S. 160 at mile post 163.

The crash involved two vehicles, an email from CSP states, adding it was reported as being a head-on crash.

"At 10:00 a.m., the number 2 and part of the number 1 lane are blocked on eastbound Highway 160," the email states. "One minor is being air lifted to the hospital and an adult is being transported to the hospital by ambulance. This crash is still being investigated at this time."
