The Community United Methodist Church invites the community to gather for a prayer vigil for peace and healing on Sunday, March 15, at 4 p.m. at the church, located at 434 Lewis St.
This vigil will be a time for quiet reflection, prayer, meditation and community as we seek peace and healing in a time marked by division, violence and uncertainty both in our country and around the world.
Participants will have space to pause, light candles, sit in silence and reflect together on the ways we can care for one another and work toward a more just and compassionate world.
All are welcome. The Community United Methodist Church is an inclusive and affirming congregation, and people of every background, identity and belief are invited to participate. Whether you identify as religious, spiritual, both or neither, you are welcome to come and share in this moment of reflection and hope.
In a world that often feels loud and fractured, this vigil offers a different space — one for reflection, courage and healing.
