The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) is hosting a series of virtual town halls to share resources for Colorado’s federal workers impacted by recent federal layoffs and restructuring.

The CDLE will review the unemployment claim filing process, go over what former federal workers need to know before filing a claim and share the various reemployment support available to all Colorado job seekers through Colorado’s Workforce System.

The Colorado Department of Personnel and Administration (DPA) will also share resources for formal federal workers interested in continuing their careers in public service with the state of Colorado.

When:

  • Wednesday, March 19, from noon to 1 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 20, from 4 to 5 p.m.

Where:

Both sessions will be held virtually over Zoom. Zoom space is limited, so participants are encouraged to join early. If capacity is reached on Zoom, each session will be streamed live on YouTube. The CDLE will answer as many questions as possible from both Zoom and YouTube audiences.
