Pagosa Great Old Broads for Wilderness will host a presentation by Rose Chilcoat, associate director of the national Great Old Broads organization, regarding public lands livestock grazing with an emphasis and update on what is happening with Canyons of the Ancients National Monument’s grazing allotments situation.
Canyons of the Ancients, west of Cortez, has over 6,000 recorded archaeological sites and up to 100 sites per square mile in some places. The landscape contains a wealth of historical and environmental resources.
