Town of Pagosa Springs
The Town of Pagosa Springs invites the community to join the Pagosa Springs Public Arts Committee for the unveiling of “Shared Current,” a new public art sculpture by artist Mark Rane, on Friday, Sept. 18, at 5:30 p.m. at Centennial Park.
Rane was selected by the Public Arts Committee to create a sculpture that reimagines and repurposes historic geothermal panels from the Town’s pumphouse.
The completed work, “Shared Current,” honors Pagosa Springs’ geothermal heritage by transforming materials from its past into a new piece of art for the community to enjoy.
The town encourages residents and visitors to attend the unveiling, meet the artist and celebrate the addition of this new piece of public art to the geothermal campus.
