The Aspen Springs Metro District’s building sports a new sign in honor of Carey Brown, who recently stepped down from the district’s public works manager role. He helped build the roads beginning in 1982 and has been working full-time on the district’s roads since 1984. Brown hasn’t left the district completely, however; he continues to work part-time, including mentoring the district’s new public works manager, Ryan Keifer.
